What is a Salesforce developer?
For context, Salesforce is one of the biggest and most extensive Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems in the world. They allow businesses to manage their consumers in a well-organized platform.
The tools below help Salesforce developers to do their job well and without any hitches. While their job description can be technical in nature, they are also expected to have soft skills on hand.
Now, Salesforce devs are tasked and are responsible for overseeing the technical side of this CRM tool. According to Builtin, in order to do their roles well, they have to understand and utilize these three Salesforce technologies:
- Apex: Salesforce’s own programming language with similarities to Java.
- Visualforce: A markup language similar to HMTL and is used to create custom pages.
- Lightning Component Framework: Similar to Angular JS, it’s a UI-development framework.
Contrary to popular belief, even they need to collaborate on projects and clients to deliver their outputs on time.
Developers with this innate skill may find themselves spending more time working together than doing most tasks at the same moment. But there would be times that it can be difficult for some developers who don’t see eye-to-eye.
Like other jobs out there, a keen sense of communication and teamwork is needed to be a successful developer.
Salesforce developer salary
Salesforce development is one of the most unique niches of the software development branch. Along with WordPress development, this is another line of work that only focuses on one specific “brand” of programming trends and platforms.
It could be one of the reasons why they are very well-compensated, due to the fact that finding a good Salesforce developer could take a long time.
But companies shouldn’t worry though, with how fast the industries grow, more and more people would look into this niche and try their hand out.
